Yesterday, I poached an egg. As I do most weekday mornings. A poached egg on toast. The perfect ratio of fat, protein, and carbs. One-hundred thirty meaningful calories. The photo below is what happened yesterday, and while the nutrients are more or less the same, it’s not nearly so much fun to eat:
